Service Learning Projects
Projects have included a zero landscape garden which was a joint effort including special and regular education students. A passive solar water heater that heats the well water directed to the restrooms has been developed by students. They also have built an eight foot reflective solar heater that can create temperatures up to 800 degrees F. Students are using their knowledge of solar energy helping to design heating for the community pool. The also work on a vegetable garden and orchard.
