Students from the Science Club at Foothill HS will research solar energy solutions, create student designed solar projects, demonstrate these solar projects to the community.
Research to include visiting the “Tech” Museum in San Jose, CA which did occur Saturday, October 24, 2009.Internet global research, visits to solar powered model homes, and other solar expos in our area are on the agenda.Partners: SMUD and Rahaus “Solar Schoolhouse” were kind enough to provide technology and tools for the Spring session where students will learn how to build solar powered items such as a fountain for the school.
Students plan to present their findings to the Twin Rivers School board, Foothill community, and 1-2 other schools.
