Healthy Desserts

Throughout the year, 15-30 students attended the Douglass cooking club to learn how to cook healthy foods.  This required students to use their math skills to calculate and measure ingredients. Nutritional aspects of various recipes were also discussed.  As a culminating activity, four students volunteered to cook healthy desserts for our PTA Dessert Sale.  All funds raised wer given to the PTA to help fund various school projects.  Partners included Woodland Healthcare and Douglass PTA.
